During my recent business trip to Tarifa, my director chose Casa Africa as our accommodation, and I'm glad he did. One of the standout features of this hotel is the seasonal hammam. After a long day of meetings, I had the chance to unwind and relax in the tranquil atmosphere of the hammam. It was a rejuvenating experience that left me feeling refreshed and ready for the next day. Casa Africa offers a massage service for a surcharge. I decided to indulge myself and booked a massage during my stay. The skilled masseuse worked her magic, easing away the tension in my muscles and providing a much-needed sense of relaxation. It was the perfect way to de-stress after a busy day. The hotel's sun terrace was a lovely spot to soak up some sunshine and enjoy the beautiful views. I often found myself taking a break on the terrace, sipping a cup of coffee and admiring the breathtaking surroundings. And for those seeking a little extra pampering, the sauna and steam room were also available for guests to visit.
We lived on the first floor, and the room we were assigned was equipped for disabled guests.

The street noise was audible during the day in my room, as it was facing the main street. However, it was not a major issue for me.

The hotel is right in the center of the old town, making it the perfect location to explore the area. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with all the facilities you need for a pleasant stay. The staff, especially Mr. Sanchez, are incredibly helpful and go above and beyond to suggest things to do and see in the area. The attention to detail is commendable, and the breakfast is delicious.
There is just one minor aspect that could be improved, the privacy in the bathroom. Although the glass door separates it from the room, it is not completely blurry, which might make some guests feel a bit uncomfortable.
